They are groups of assets that have common ground with each other. Major Layer 1 blockchains grouped into an index may include BTC, ETH, AVAX, FTM, MATIC, for example.

The exact breakdown of their contributions towards the total index is based on things like marketcap and TVL.

They are a foundational layer of the Teragon Protocol
