# All-Weather Crypto Strategy

### What is the All-Weather Crypto Strategy? <a href="#docs-internal-guid-e726d510-7fff-80ed-f879-7be9b8e38fed" id="docs-internal-guid-e726d510-7fff-80ed-f879-7be9b8e38fed"></a>

This is a sophisticated asset allocation strategy that allows investors to create a diversified portfolio that performs well across different market conditions. The strategy allocates across different asset classes using optimised target weights. The strategy rebalances monthly to maintain target weights.

The various asset classes used in the strategy are:

* Cash - Yield generating. Similar to fixed income investment in traditional finance
* BTC - gold like store of value
* L1 tokens like ETH - these provide commodity \[oil] type exposure
* DeFi tokens - growth/equity type investment
* Metaverse - similar to real estate
